Chanel West Coast was born in Los Angeles, California in the year 1988. She celebrates her birthday every year on September 1. As Chanel West Coast parents were not staying together she grew up in North Hollywood with her mother and in New York City with her father.

Chanel's father was a DJ of Russian descent. It is said that it was him who took Chanel to the nightclubs at the age of eight. She is very much interested in music and started singing when she was little. She was also involved in Kidz Bop, a brand of compilation albums which featured children singing popular songs.  

Talking about her love relationship, Chanel West Coast is currently dating boyfriend Liam Horne. They have been dating each other since 2014. Before dating Liam, Chanel was rumored to be with Chris Dfaff but the news wasn’t that strong and did not last long.

Chanel West Coast in 2008 through her mutual friend got introduced to Rob Dyrdek, a television personality. Soon after that, she was offered for the MTV reality series Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory. She also appeared in an episode of 'The Hard Times of RJ Berger' which was a mark of her acting debut.

Later Chanel became the main cast of the series 'Ridiculousness' along with Dyrdek and Sterling Brim. In the year 2012, Chanel was seen in the second season of Ridiculousness and fifth season of 'Fantasy Factory'. In 2012 itself she did voice over for the character of Flipz for Wild Grinders, an animated series, which she continued for a year.

The sixth of Fantasy Factory and the fourth season Ridiculousness was premiered in 2013 and 2014 where Chanel was seen.  During this show going on in 2009, she has already begun her music career recording in collaboration with several artists. She recorded with artists like Tiffanie Anderson, Somaya Reece, Midi Mafia, and others

In 2012 she was signed with Lil Wayne to his label 'Young Money Entertainment' to which she released mixtape 'Now You Know' in 2013. The mixtape featured different singers like French Montana, Robin Thicke, Snoop Dogg and Evan Ross. Till now she has released numerous music videos featuring high-profile singers and rappers.

The first single of Chanel West Coast was released on 15 January 2014 called 'Blueberry Chills' featuring Honey Cocaine. Soon the second single 'New Feeling' was released on 29 January, following that three single 'Miles and Miles' came out on 29 October.
