Personal life
Born in Scottish Native American family to country music artist Linda Davis and Lang Scott, Hillary Scott, spent her childhood days in Nashville, Tennessee. Up to kindergarten, she was homeschooled and later for elementary level/high school she went to Donelson Christian Academy.
She graduated from this academy in 2004, and in 2012 she married Nashville based drummer, Chris Tyrrell. They were first introduced in college and were reconnected in Tim Mc Graw's Southern Voice tour in early 2010.In July 2011 they were officially in a relationship and they announced for their marriage in Oct 2011.
Hillary has music note's tattoo on her right foot and number 14 in right wrist. Number 14 has to mean both in her personal life and professional life, the age she decided her career in the music industry and the age difference between her and her younger sister, Rylee Jean Scott.
Professional life
Fascinated by mother's love towards music she started joining her mother in Christmas events. To enhance her career in music world she joined Middle Tennessee State University.
In her college days, she got to know and perform with Victoria Shaw, singer, and songwriter, which helped her to gain some publicity.Hillary tried to get in American Idol twice but failed the judges round in both cases.
Then she met future bandmates Charles Kelly and later Dave Haywood. Both Kelly and Scott were impressed by each other's goal and decided they should get together with Haywood and write songs.
Their first move was "All We'd Ever Need", originally written for Scott to perform, but realizing it would be better as duet led out the path for formation of Lady Antebellum .They initiated Lady Antebellum in August 2006 and signed a record deal with Capitol Nashville in 2007.Together they have come up with mind-blowing songs like" Need you now", "Just a Kiss " and many more.
Besides Scott's other works include singing in background vocals and writing songs for other country artists. She appeared on Season 4 of the voice 2016 as a mentor and presented Gospel Hour for BBC Radio 2 Country.

The Lady Antebellum songstress took to Instagram on Monday to introduce her newborn daughters, Betsy Mack Tyrrell and Emory Joann Tyrrell. Posting two black and white photos, one of which featured her oldest daughter, with a long caption pouring out love and happiness.
Our identical little ladies Betsy Mack and Emory JoAnn were born January 29th around 2 am, 5.5lbs each and 17 inches long. Their Daddy took this picture when they were two days old napping on Mama. Their favorite place to be, other than on me, is nose to nose and cheek to cheek. Big Sister Eisele’s heart is full of love for her sisters and she is already such an incredible little helper. In 7th December 2012, she welcomed her first child Eisele Kaye Tyrrell .She then announced her next pregnancy in 2015, but unfortunately, it was miscarried. Now, she is too glad having two more baby girls.
