Susan McMahon, aka Sue Herera, was born in Spokane, Washington, United States in the 15th of November on 1957. She spent her childhood in Brentwood, California.
Her father worked as a shoe wholesaler and her mother was a housewife. Herera attended the California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism in 1980.
She tied the marital knot with a physician, Daniel Herera in 1984. The couple was blessed with twin girls and a son after that.
Sue Herera : Professional Life
Herera started her career in journalism as an intern for KNXT-TV stationed at Los Angeles and later started covering the business news reporting the highly technical future industry for the brand new Financial News Network in 1981.
Herera was then promoted to the position of anchor after her consistent brilliance. Later Herera was hired by Jack Welch, CEO of General Electric, to work at NBC as one of the founding members of CNBC, a financial television network launched in April 17.
Herera then began serving as the anchor for CNBC.
