Simon Hobbs

The famous American personality was actually born in the United Kingdom but later shifted to the United States of America and currently holds an American citizenship card.

Unfortunately, because of Hobbs’ secretive nature, we almost know nothing about when or precisely where he was born and what his family background was like. Similarly, Hobbs’ early life is also still a complete mystery.

Hobbs currently resides in American in Los Angeles.

Hobbs had always been enthusiastic about journalism from an early age. Because of his excellence, he landed his first job in Sky News, one of the biggest news networks in the world.

At Sky News, he was assigned to work as one of the station’s radio producers. Later in 1998, Hobbs departed from Sky News in order to join CNBC. He kept on progressing and built his career to a really high point in CNBC during the eighteen years that he worked there. Hobbs also got the opportunity to work as the co-presenter on the show Squawk Box Europe. From there, he moved on to Europe Today as a host.

Even though Today’s Business replaced Squawk Box Europe, Hobbs continued working on the new show as well, as a host. He was responsible for hosting the shows Europe Tonight and European Closing Bell in 2003.

After he was replaced by Guy Johnson, Hobbs began serving on Questions for the Future as the show’s co-host in 2007 with Ross Westgate by his side. It was very shocking that after so many years of loyalty towards the station, CNBC refused to renew his contract. So he left the network on the 29th of July 2016. Prior to this, he worked as the presenter of an interview series show The Leaders.

Hobbs is not as active on social as other media personalities with immense popularity. Among the most popular social networking sites, Hobbs possesses an account on Twitter only.
