Piers Morgan

Piers Stefan O'Meara was born on 30 March 1965 in Newick, Sussex, England. His parents are Gabrielle Georgina Sybille and Vincent Eamonn O'Meara. He went to Chailey School in Chailey, East Sussex later completed his school from Priory School. Piers then joined Harlow College and studied journalism.

Piers Morgan first married Marion Shalloe whom he divorced in 2008. He tied the knot with Marion in 1991 in Hampshire. This couple has three sons together. After two years of the divorce, he married wife Celia Walden who is a columnist and feature writer for the newspaper. Celia is the daughter of former Conservative MP George Walden.

Piers Morgan was a reporter for the Surrey and South London Newspaper Group in 1985. After a certain time of working for other newspapers like Streatham and Tooting News, he was hired by The Sun. In 'The Sun' he worked for the Bizarre Column.

In 1994 he became the editor of the News Of the World which led him to be the youngest editor of a national newspaper in more than half a century. In 1995 he left the post of editor joining the Daily Mirror the following year in 1996. He also came in the headline when he was told to apologize on for the headline 'Achtung Surrender! For You Frtiz Ze Euro Championship Is Over' in June 1996.

With many controversies on 14 May 2004 Piers Morgan was fired from his job of the editor from Daily Mirror. Later in 2005 he teamed up with Matthew Freud and became one of the owners of Press Gazette which was later sold.

Piers Morgan again launched First News a weekly paper, especially for seven to fourteen years kids. Piers joined Mail Online as editor in September 2014. Apart from being a journalist he also regularly appears in the many television shows. He first presented a BBC television documentary divided into three parts on "The Importance of Being Famous' in 2003.

He then became the judge of one of the most popular shows 'American's Got Talent' on NBC in 2016. He could also be seen in the 2007 'Comic Relief Does The Apprentice' in order to raise money for BBC charity telethon Comic Relief.

Pires again became the judge for the America's Got Talent second season in 2007. His major deal came in May 2008 when he signed the two years 'golden handcuffs' deal with ITV, the deal worth was £2 million per year. He also got to be the member of CNN on 8 September 2010 by replacing Larry King before that he did a hit show named Piers Morgan's life stories. His Piers Morgan Live began then.

Good Morning Britain on ITV by Piers was first hosted as a guest host where he later became the permanent co-host. Alongside with his newspaper and television career, he is also an author who has written almost ten books till now. One of the news about Piers Morgan is banding Hugh Grant on his Twitter and he is famous for the debate he had with Janet Mock.
