Nicole Lapin came into this world on the 7th of March and was born in Los Angeles, California in the United States of America in 1984. She spent her childhood growing up in Los Angeles in a Jewish Family as the daughter of a former Miss Israel and a scientist, making her the perfect combination of beauty with brains.
After she figured that she was passionate about journalism, she went on to pursue her dreams by studying at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and graduated from college with a Bachelor in Arts (B.A.) degree in Journalism, as a valedictorian.
Regarding her relationship status, Lapin was involved in a love affair with Jack Dorsey. After Dorsey, she was found dating Michael Rubin, The CEO and founder of GSI Commerce.
Nicole Lapin: Professional Life, Career
Lapin started out her career as a professional journalist from CBS stations stationed at Kentucky and South Dakota working as a correspondent. She later worked at KPSP-LP in California, where she was assigned as the station’s investigative reporter. She has also worked at Chicago’s news network First Business as a reporter.
She quickly progressed and established herself as a dedicated reporter and soon after that, in 2005, Lapin was hired by the news giant CNN, making her one of the youngest to work for the network. At CNN, she was able to cover numerous historical events including the 2008 Presidential election, the Israel-Hezbollah conflict, and the Virginia Tech massacre.
She began working on Young People Who Rock, an interview series on CNN and she has also had the opportunity to interview Governor Arnold Schwarzenneger in her career.
After a successful and fruitful career at CNN, she departed from the network in order to join another news giant – CNBC, where she was given the responsibility of anchoring Worldwide Exchange, a globally popular show, alongside Ross Westgate, from the January of 2010. She co-anchored on The Kudlow Report in the June of 2010 and while she worked for CNBC, she got the chance of interviewing Fortune 500 CEOs as well.
She went on to work for Bloomberg Television from the September of 2012 after CNBC and began working as the network’s special correspondent and anchor. She worked as the anchor of the show Bloomberg West and did many interviews and reporting jobs specializing on technology and sports.
It was announced in 2014 that Rich Bitch, Lapin’s book, was about to be published by Harlequin. The book went on to become listed on the New York Times Bestseller list.
She began hosting the show Hatched from 2015 on The CW Network. Lapin was also the one and only female judge of the show. She currently works for Steve and Access Hollywood Live as a money expert.
