Personal Life
Neroli Meadows celebrates her birthday on the 16th of September and was born in Collie, Western Australia. Unfortunately, her birth year is still to be disclosed to major publications. Meadows comes from a family of successful individuals who have distinguished their worth.
Her grandfather, Paul Ritter, was a famous Western Australian architect, writer, artist and sociologist. She has two brothers – Ian Meadow and Ross Meadow. Ian has achieved success in acting and writing and is noted for his brilliant work on ABC’s show “A Moody Christmas” whereas Ross has achieved success by playing hockey and is a regular on the national hockey team.
According to Meadows, she is a hardcore fan of the Fremantle Football Club in the Australian Football League.
For her education, she attended the Curtin University in Western Australia and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. She went on to get a diploma in Broadcasting after attending the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
She had to stay in the United States to study at University of Tennessee during a six month exchange semester.
Professional Life
Meadows started out working at a radio station at Perth, 6PR, as a weekend sports producer in 2006. After this, she moved on the work at Seven Network and worked there for four years on the show Today Tonight. She has also been a panel member on Before the Game, a Network Ten program, in 2013.
Meadows took an interview on 7 30 in the January of 2016, an ABC program, focusing on the inappropriate comments made by Chris Gayle, a Jamaican cricketer, directed towards Mel McLaughlin, a fellow sports reporter.
She also stood up against Mark Robinson, the Herald Sun football writer and Fox Footy journalist, regarding an article he wrote about the Adelaide premiership co-captain Erin Phillips. Robinson had written Phillips to be “a touch sensual for a number of men” after Phillips had kissed her wife during the AFL Woman’s Award ceremony.
Currently, Meadows is working as the hostess at Game Day Live, a Fox Sports program. In addition to this, she also hosts the Fox Footy programs AFL Today and AFL Tonight. She mostly interviews and speaks to famous sports personalities in her shows.
