Kristi Capel

Krist Marie Capel was born on the 7th of July in Florence, Kentucky, United States of America in 1983.

For her early education, Capel studied at the Heritage Academy in Kentucky and graduated from high school in 2001. She is also has great skills in volleyball because of which she received a scholarship to study at Evangel University, a religious school, and graduated from college with honors in 2005 by earning a Bachelor in Science (B.S.) degree in Broadcasting and Public Relations.

Back in 2005, Capel participated in the Miss Missouri USA beauty pageant and came out on top of everyone else winning the competition. Prior to this, she had also participated in Miss Kentucky USA beauty pageant and was placed in the top fifteen amongst all other competitors.

She got the opportunity to participated in Miss USA 2006 pageant held at Baltimore, Maryland, representing Missouri, in the April of 2006.

Capel took the first steps into her professional life from an ABC affiliate KSPR Springfield 33 News where she started working as a television reporter and co-anchor.

Later, Capel shifted her career in radio at 1340 AM KADI and 99 Hits FM as a radio personality in 2006. She returned to television in the April of 2008 after shifting to Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and joined WBRE-TV’s weather forecasting team.

WJW TV hired Capel in the January of 2011 and after that, she took up the role of the co-anchor on the Fox 8 show News in Morning.

Capel’s popularity has been growing ever since her career began and now she has managed to build a huge social profile. She has fans all over the world that follow her on social media.
