Kevin Corke began his professional career in journalism from 9News KUSA stationed at Denver working as the station’s sportscaster. Later he moved on to work for WTVJ-TV, an NBC affiliate at Miami as a news anchor.
After establishing himself as a dedicated journalist, he was hired to work for the sports giant ESPN as the network’s play-by-play sportscaster. He worked as the anchor on the show SportsCenter while working at ESPN stationed at Bristol, CT.
Corke has also been responsible for working on broadcasts as a coordinating producer. In addition to this, he was entrusted with covering the Olympic Games held at Torino and Atlanta. He had been working at KUSA-TV at Denver as a weekend broadcaster and sports news anchor during the ‘90s.
Corke’s confidence kept growing as his career progressed and went on to land a job at NBC and was given the opportunity to work as the station’s correspondent for national news in 2004 and worked there for around 4 years until 2008. In his career, Corke has covered and reported for major news stories involving the U.S Supreme Court and The Pentagon.
As a reward for his consistency and dedication, he was awarded with the Emmy Award for News & Documentary for the category Outstanding Coverage of a Breaking News Story.
