Personal Life
Julie Anne Donaldson was born in Jacksonville, Florida, United Stated of America in 1978. Back in 2000, she was crowned as the Miss Florida USA 2001.
Donaldson had competed and became the first runner-up to Kristin Ludecke the year before. She went on to compete in the Miss USA 2001 beauty pageant and performed remarkably, although she did not win it.
Unfortunately, not much information regarding Donaldson’s family or early life has been disclosed to the media yet. Similarly, Donaldson’s education background also has not been revealed to any major publication.
Professional Life
Donaldson, despite the bright career she was presented with in modeling, decided to pursue journalism. She began working with SportsNet New York in 2006 and was assigned with various reports related to sporting events which were covered by SNY.
She was also given the responsibility to host the show Mets Weekly, which shows the highlights of the New York Mets games, injuries, trades and other exciting news. Donaldson served at SprotsNet New York from 2006-2007 and later moved on to work at Heat TV’s show Miami Heat as the show’s host.
She had also taken up the job of a co-host on Fox Sports Net on the show Sports Rap. Donaldson was appointed as the co-host for numerous other shows including Softball 360 on Fox Sports Net National and the PBS Series Healthy Body Healthy Mind aired on the Information Television Network.
She was exceptionally good at what she did and numerous stations had wanted to hire her. She eventually joined WHDH-TV, an NBC affiliate at Boston and was assigned to the reporting and anchoring team at Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, New England Patriots, and Boston Bruins in the February of 2008. She departed from the station in the December of 2008.
Donaldson joined Comcast SportsNet’s Mid-Atlantic Network as a freelancing reporter in June 2010 and did mostly reporting and covering jobs on stories at Washington, D.C. and occasionally filled in for Jill Sorenson. Because of her hard work, she moved up to the position of anchor and reporter at the station in September 2010. She currently works on the Show SportsNet Central alongside Michael Jenkins.
