Julia Bradbury

Julia Bradbury came into this world on the 24th of July in Dublin, Ireland in 1970 as the daughter of a father, Michael Bradbury, who worked as a marketing director in the steel and engineering industry and a mother who designed clothes.

She spent her childhood growing up with her family and has a sister named Gina. For her early education, she was sent to King Edward VII School in Sheffield. Bradbury stopped going to school after she completed her O-levels at age 16 and started focusing on her career.

Julia Bradbury was enthusiastic about her professional life since an early age because of which she couldn’t just wait on her schooling to finish before beginning her journey. She began working at Chrysalis TV as a television presenter and later moved on to work at L!VE TV.

She then took up the job of a correspondent for GMTV stationed at Los Angeles. She was widely praised for her brilliant presentation in Watchdog which helped her to propel her career forward. She was hired by BBC to co-host the show Are We Being Served? In 2006 and also participated on the show Just the Two of Us in 2007.

Bradbury has also had the opportunity to present on BBC One on Ultimate Britain – Climbing and later went on to present other popular shows including Kill It, Cook It, Eat It for over three years (2008-2011) on BBC Three. Some other shows in which Bradbury has presented over the years include Take on the Twisters, Famous, Mystery Map, Britain’s Best Walks, and Countryfile.

Bradbury has also ventured beyond television and has worked for BBC London 94.9 and Radio 5 Live as the presenter. She currently serves at the Scout Association, Bowel & Prostate Cancer, and The Outdoor Trust as the ambassador.
