Holly Green was a born British and was brought up in Plymouth of England. She graduated from the Cardiff University which is situated in Wales. She got a degree in Mathematics and was always very active in extra activities. She also got a degree in Meteorology from Reading University.

She started her career as a weather forecaster in The Met Office as trainee.

She was officially employed by RAF Coningsby giving information on forecasts. She also served briefings for the pilots of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the Eurofighter Typhoons. After that, she was called by the BBC Weather Center for employment. She worked there as a Duty Weather Manager and the National Presenter. She was then regarded as a member of a team that provided news and weather is west and south of England. She departed from her job (the BBC Weather) on 15 September 2017.

At present is working as a weather presenter in ITV Meridian.
