Heather Cox, 47, was born as Heather Schoeny on 3rd June 1970 in Jonesville, North Carolina, USA. Being born to Native American parents, she holds American nationality and  North American ethnicity.

She finished her high schooling at a local school in her hometown. Later, she went to the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California where she graduated with a bachelor degree in communications. In the University, Cox gained a volleyball scholarship being an avid player and joined the team as lead women’s player.

 Then after, she worked as an analyst and reporter for Goodwill Games till the year 2002. Currently, Heather Cox is working as a sideline reporter for NBC and NFL’s reporter for Thursday Night Football.
