Dana Jacobson

Dana Jacobson, who celebrates her birthday on the 5th of November, was born in Michigan, United States of America in 1971 in a Jewish family. She was enthusiastic about journalism since an early age.

For her early education, Jacobson was sent to the Andover High School at Bloomfield Hills, Michigan followed by Valley High School located at West Des Moines, Iowa, from where she graduated high school. To pursue higher education, she attended the University of Michigan and graduated by earning a Bachelor in Arts (B.A.) Degree in English and Communications in 1993.

Regarding Jacobson’s relationship status, Jacobson has not provided any clues or hints to being involved in any kind of love affairs. She likes to keep her personal life quite private from others but hopefully, we will get to know her a little better in the future.

Jacobson began her career in journalism after taking up a television job at WPBN/WTOM-TV at Traverse City, Michigan where she was assigned to work as an editor and a producer, and something as a fill-in news anchor as well. From there, she moved on to join an ABC affiliate station, KXTV-TV, where she took up the responsibility of covering the NFL and NBA as a weekend sports anchor at the station.

In her career, she has also worked on the Monday Night Football show on KXTV, later moving on to hosting the show on radio KHTK-AM.

By this point, Jacobson had already distinguished herself from other journalist and was progressing at her career at a rapid rate. Eventually she joined ESPN’s anchoring team in the December of 2002, becoming a regular anchor on the popular show SportsCenter. She also worked at the position of co-host on the show Cold Pizza and has hosted the show First Take on ESPN.

After a fruitful journey at ESPN, she departed from the network in April 30, 2012 and was hired by CBS Network in the January of 2013 and began working for CBS Sports. She worked as the host on the CBS Sports Radio’s morning show and later moved on from there to work a full-time shift at CBS Sports Network in 2014.
