Corey Hawkins

Corey Antonio Hawkins was born 22 October 1988 in Washington, D.C, the United States of America. His parents are Hersey Hawkins and Jennifer Hawkins; mother was a police officer who raised him. It is said that he also has a sister however no solid information can be found.

He According to his bio wiki, he went to get his education from the Duke Elementary School of the Arts. After that, he attended Juilliard School located in New York City and got his graduate degree from there.  

When it comes to his love life, Corey Hawkins is a very reserved and shy person who does not share of a personal matter. We can hardly find information about his love relationship. Either he wants to keep it secret or he can be single. Nevertheless, he has been frequently seen with Teyonah Parris. 

While Corey Hawkins was in the Juilliard School, he was the member of the drama division’s group 40. During his tenure at Juilliard, he received a prestigious John Houseman Award for an excellence in classical theater. Upon completing his graduation, he started his career starring off-Broadway and he also guest-starred on TV.

Corey Hawkins then earned a brief role in Iron Man 3 and went on to star opposite to Julianne Moore and Liam Neeson in the Universal Pictures’action thriller Non-Stop. Later in 2013, he made his Broadway debut in the revival of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet as Tybalt.

In 2015, it was announced by the Hollywood Reporter that he would join the cast members of AMC’s The Walking Dead as Heath which is a key character from a comic series by Robert Kirkman.

Corey Hawkins has also been cast as a male lead role in 24 reboot 24: Legacy on the Fox. His other movies and TV credits include Allegiance, Kong: Skull Island, Golden Boy, Royal Pains, and more. Till now he has been nominated in many categories like NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture, Washington D.C Area Film Critics Association Award for Best Ensemble, Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Acting Ensemble and much more.

Corey Hawkins has won the 2015 Hollywood Breakout Ensemble Award.
