Cassie Campbell celebrates her birthday on the 22nd of November and was born in Richmond Hill, Canada in 1973. She spent her childhood growing up in Brampton after her family shifted to Ontario.
For her early education, she was sent to study at the North Park Secondary School. After graduating from school, she went on to attend at the University of Guelph at Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
Campbell shares her marital life with Brad Pascall, who works for the Calgary Flames from NHL as the team’s assistant general manager. The happy couple was blessed with a child, named as Brooke Violet, on the 17th of November, in 2010. She was honored with an honorary degree in the 16th of June, 2011, by the University of Guelph.
To honor her, The Cassie Campbell Community Centre at Brampton, Ontario was named after her.

Campbell was a naturally gifted hockey player. And with her hard work and determination, she was able to become the captain of the Canadian ice hockey team.
She was able to represent the country in the Winter Olympics of 2002. With her brilliant captaincy, her team was able to win the first position and take home a gold medal. She was chosen to lead the national ice hockey team once again during the Winter Olympics which was held in Turin, Italy in 2006.
And once more, she showed her team the path to victory and as a result, they won the gold medal again. Campbell also went on to join Calgary Oval X-treme team as the team’s captain. She has also played for other major hockey teams including Mississauga Chiefs and Toronto Aeros.
After a brilliant career in sports, she finally retired on the 30th of August in 2006. After that, Campbell thought of shifting her career form an athlete to a news reporter. So, she was hired by Hockey Night in Canada and was assigned to work as the station’s rinkside reporter. With this, she achieved the milestone of becoming the first female to conduct a color commentary on the show.
Campbell has also worked on the show TSN’s hockey broadcasts as a host.
