Adler was passionate about journalism and knew what her goal since her school days. She wanted to begin her professional career as soon as she graduated from college but she had to struggle a lot not knowing anyone in the journalism industry. But she didn’t need any favors as her skills alone were enough.
She was hired by NBC Page program stationed at Burbank, CA and later began working as an editors assistant at KNBC news room. Gradually progressing forward, she was finally presented the on-air job as a reporter at an NBC affiliated in Monterey, CA after two months of hard work.
She later moved on to work for an entertainment show “Eye On The Desert” as the show’s co-host for a CBS affiliate stationed at Palm Springs.After a successful run at NBC, she took up a job as a weekend evening sports anchor for WNYW on Fox NY on Channel 5 and was also assigned to fill-in as the host of “Good Day New York”. Later she also co-hosted “Sports Extra” and served as a field reporter as well.
She had the opportunity to cover the Yankees’ 2009 World Series Championship, the MLB All Star Game during her time at Fox and hosted the New York City Triathlon for two consecutive years (2008 and 2009).
After her departure from WNYW, she started working for KNBC at Los Angeles as the station’s weekend anchor for the “Today in LA” weekend edition. She also handled the responsibility of news reporter for “Today in LA’ weekdays.
Over the years, Adler has appeared in MSNBC as well and worked on the Lakers’ pre and post game show as the host for the 2012-2013 season.
Adler then came back to New York to work at Pix11 News as a sports anchor and is currently responsible for hosting the “PIX 11 Sports Desk.”
Adler has made a brief appearance on the 2011 action move Fast Five starring Dwyane Johnson.
