Andreas Seppi is a professional tennis player who was born in northern Italy in South Tyrol. He was born in the year 1984 on 21st of February. He became a professional tennis player in the year 2002. His strong point is that he can play in hard and clay surfaces and those are his favorites. He is being coached by Massimo Sartori and his ranking in the whole world is 18.
Seppi’s mother tongue is German but he had proficiency in speaking Italian and English Language. His favorite football club is AC Milan. He is called by his nickname Andy and Seppi; the name Seppi was given by his coach. His best friend’s name is Karin Knapp who is also a WTA player and lives in the same town where Seppi stays.
Professional Life
He started his career as a professional in the year 2001 where he played exclusively on ATP Futures and ATP Challenger series for about three seasons. He first won the Futures in the year 2003 which was held in Munich in Germany. In that very series, he defeated Lars Ubel and also qualified for another ATP events which were to be held in Kitzbuhel and Bucharest; but he was defeated by Olivier Mutis and Jose Acasuso.
In the year 2003, he made his debut against Georgia where he lost to Irakli Labadze in a total of five sets. He failed to attain 10 match point against Rainer Schuttler in Kitzbuhel. A few weeks later, he got to avenge his loss. He defeated Schuttler in from two sets to love down. He also qualified for ATP Masters Series with his phenomenal performance in Hamburg.

In Davis Cup however, he won the match against Juan Carlos Ferrero but lost against Spanish player Rafael Nadal. Due to this performance, he reached ATP tour semi-finals in Palermo. And in the match in Palermo, he again defeated the defending champion Tomas Berdych before he lost to Igor Andreev.
The year 2014 was not much of effectiveness for Seppi, because he lost every match at Hopman Cup. He got defeated by MArinko MAtosevic in the second round while he beat Lleyton in five sets but lost to Donald Young in the second round. In the Rotterdam Open, he again was defeated by Tomas Berdych whom he had defeated while Tomas was defending his title. He again lost to Michael Llodra in Marseille. In the year 2015 in the month of January when Australian Open was held, Seppi defeated the four time champion Roger Federer; he had lost with Federer for last 10 times bu t he was defeated by Nick Kyrgios.
Next tournament that Seppi Played after Australian Open was PBZ Zagreb Indoor, 2015 where he got seeded fifth. That match had a great value because for the first time since the year 2012, he had ever reached a final. But his lost this game to Guillermo Garcia Lopez.
