Andrea Mead Caning, 45, was born on 10th December 1972 in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada.
Canning grew up in beautiful place Collingwood itself. In the year 1994, she graduated with a degree in psychology from University of Western Ontario. She further studied radio and television arts at Ryerson Polytechnic University.
Gorgeous Canning married an F/A – 18 instructor pilot, Ltcol Tony Bancroft. The couple is blessed with five daughters, Anna, Charlotte, Christina, Georgia and Elle.

Canning worked for WCPO-TV, the ABC affiliate in Cincinnati, as a reporter and co-anchor. From 1999-2001, she included a vast range of issues for WPTV, the NBC affiliate, in West Palm Beach, covering the scare at the National Enquirer buildings, the path of the 9/11 terrorists, Elian Gonzales, several hurricanes and the contested 2000 presidential election.
From 1997 to 1999, she worked for CKVR-TV as a reporter and anchor. She was also the morning anchor for WXVT-CBS in Greenville, Mississippi. Prior to CKVR, from 1996 to 1997 she worked as an assignment editor for the TV show "Extra".
In the year 2004, Canning joined ABC News, she reported for ABC's affiliate news service, NewsOne. There she covered the White House, Congress, the Supreme Court and the war in Iraq.
