A Canadian American comedian, producer, writer, actress, TV host and a media critic Samantha Bee is widely known for being correspondent on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart where she became longest serving regular correspondent. She is the native of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She came into this world on 25th October of year 1969 and she now reach at the age of 46. Her parents got separated soon after her birth and she was initially raised up by her grand-mother living in Roncesvalles while she was a child.
Samantha went to get her education from the Humberside Collegiate Institute and the York Memorial Collegiate Institute. After completing her graduation from her high school, she got enrolled at McGill University. There, she studied humanities and was then transferred to University of Ottawa after the first year. After that, she attended George brown theatre School located in Toronto. Bee was one of the four founding members of the Toronto based sketch comedy troupe called The Atomic Fireballs with whom she performed previous to being hired by The Daily Show in 2003.
Samantha is a tall lady with the height of five feet and seven inches that is 1.70 m. She has already got married. She is married to her husband named Jason Jones who is also an actor and a fellow Daily show cast member. The couple tied their knot with each other in 2001 and since then, they are living their happy and blissful life. At present, she is residing in Manhattan, New York. She also has three children together with her husband. she gave birth to their first baby, a daughter named Piper Bee-Jones in January of 2006. Later, she again gave birth to their second child, a baby boy on 20th June of 2008 and named him as Fletcher Bee-Jones. Their third child, a daughter was later born in October of 2010 and she has been named as Ripley Bee-Jones.
It was on 10th July of 2003 when Bee became the correspondent for the Daily Show with Jon Stewart. On that program, she demonstrated her ability to coax the people into caricaturing themselves. She played a title role in live action production of Sailor Moon at Canadian National exhibition and she has also had the guest appearances on several of the TV shows. Bee had her first starring role in feature film in 2004 along with the Canadian independent movie known as Ham& Cheese along with the veteran Canadian comics Scott Thompson and Dave Foley.
Prior to that, Bee has also authored a book titled as I Know I Am, But What Are You? that was published in 2010. It was announced in March 2015, that Bee would be leaving The Daily Show for hosting her own satirical news show on the TBS. She then departed the show on 30th April 2015 and her new show called Full Frontal with Samantha Bee was debuted on 8th February of the next year.
