Samantha Bee's parents split after her birth; she was raised by her grandmother.

Samantha Bee was born on 25 October 1969 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She was raised by her grandmother as her parents got separated shortly after she was born. Her grandmother was a secretary at the Catholic school. Samantha studied the same school where her grandmother worked. Later she attended Humberside Collegiate Institute and York Memorial Collegiate Institute.

Samantha chose humanities as her study field and completed her education at the University of Ottawa after studying at McGill University for a year.  During her time at the University, she was the member of theater class where she discovered her true passion for performing. That led her to get into George Brown Theatre School in Toronto.

Beautiful Samantha Bee is married to her husband Jason Jones, who is an actor and the fellow member of Daily Show. This couple got married in 2001 and currently lives in Manhattan, New York. They welcomed their first baby Piper Bee-Jones in January 2006 and their second baby, Fletcher Bee-Jones on 24 January 2008. This married duo altogether has three kids; the third, Ripley Bee-Jones, was born in late 2010.

Samantha Bee keenly wanted to be in the media streamline, she gave many auditions when she was working as a waitress. She got her first role in the Sailor Moon production at the age of 26. Samantha from 2003 started 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart', 'It was my favorite show, and I just trained for it like I was an Olympian, honestly. I ate salmon every day, I was like, 'Brain food!'.

In 2004 she was seen in Canadian independent movie named Ham & Cheese with her husband Jason Jones. For the role she did in the film she won a Canadian Comedy Award for 'Pretty Funny Female Performance'. Talking about the show 'The Daily Show' she first started as a solo anchor and was also given the Canadian Comedy Award in 2005. In 2008, she was joined by her co-anchor Kristen Schaal.

We could also see her in the HBO series Bored to Death, the other series she has her role is Test The Nation, Law & Order, The Electric Company, Sesame Street, and so on.

Samantha Bee started her another famous show named 'Full Frontal with Samantha Bee' from March 2015. It was own satirical news show which made her first woman host a late-night satire show. She is also an executive producer of 'The Detour', a TBS comedy series, since 2016. In early 2017, she hosted 'Not the White House Correspondents' Dinner'.
