Mike Greenberg was born on 6 August 1967 to a Jewish family of New York City, United States of America. He then graduated from Stuyvesant High School located in New York. Later he finished his higher degree from Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. Right after his completion of the study, he initiated his career as a sportscaster.
Mike beside working as an active sportscaster has also released many books. His first book was titled as 'Why My Wife Thinks I’m An Idiot' on 7 March 2006. The book reached 14th on New York Times Bestseller list and it was also nominated in 2006 Quill Awards for the Best Sports Book. After that, in April of 2010, Mike along with his co-host Mike Golic released a book entitled as Mike and Mike’s Rules for Sports and Life.
In addition to the release, both of Mikes embarked on a 15-city book tour which included stops in Philadelphia, New York City, Chicago, Dallas, Tampa, Boston, and Pittsburgh. Mike also released a novel 'All You Could Ask For' in 2013. There came another novel 'My Father's Wives' in January 2015 which also got huge success.

Mike Greenberg hosts SportsCenter and ESPN Radio’s Mike & Mike show aside Mike Golic in the weekdays evening for the ESPN. From 2007 to 2008 he was also seen on the ABC network in show Duel. Later in 2011, he appeared in the National Football League season being the co-host.
According to his bio in wiki, Mike started his professional career WMAQ but left in 1992 and joined WSCR-Radio as a reporter and talk show host. HIs main duty there was to cover events such as World Series and The Super Bowl. After that, from 1993 till 1995, he wrote a weekly syndicated column for California-based Copley News Service. Later in 1994, he added reporting for the live call-in show. Mike then left the Chicago for joining ESPN in September of 1996 where he became one of the first hosts of the ESPNEWS. He also co-hosted Live with Kelly in 2012 on ABC.
