Megan Barry

Megan Barry now 54 was born in September 1963 in Santa Ana, California. Barry graduated from Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management. Since 2015, Megan has been Nashville's Democratic Mayor.

Megan's significant other is Bruce Barry, and Megan Barry's child is Max Barry. In spite of the fact that the marriage is finished, she told columnists that she and her significant other are no longer together. 

Megan Barry's 22-year-old son Max recently passed away of an overdose on July 29. She is using her platform to spread awareness and sparking conversations among parents and kids.

Megan Barry also became the first woman to hold the post as mayor of the Metropolitan. 

Megan Barry graduated from the private all-girls Notre Dame de Sion School in Missouri. In 1986, She completed her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Baker University. Moreover, She also has done an MBA at Vanderbilt University in 1993.

Her business career started from multinational telecommunications firm Nortel Network. In 2012, Barry became vice president for a health-care group. After her tenure, she worked in private consultation company called Barry & Associates.

Apart from that, her political career was fueled when she won a seat at Metro Council in September 2007. Barry looked over council's Budget and Finance and Education Committee.

Aaan mayoral candidate in 2015, Megan advocated for gender equality and also performed the first same-sex marriage in her district. 

She was elected as mayor on September 10, 2015, for the Nashville and Davidson County, As of now, her Net worth is roughly $8 Million.  She has also publicly announced and apologized about her affair with the head of security detail and has promised to move forward with the city's future.
