A journalist by occupation and an ex-student of Boston University, Liz Cho is of mixed ethnicity owing to her Korean-American surgeon father and Jewish-American nurse mother. She was listed by People magazine in 2003 as one of the “50 Most Beautiful People”. The following is a short bio compiled of this personality.

Liz Cho's full name is Lizabeth Almee Cho, and her current age is 45. She is 5 feet 6 inches in height. Cho has a younger brother with whom she grew up in Concord, Massachusetts during her childhood. Her father, who in 2009 died of colon cancer, was an immigrant from Korea who came to the US as a medical practitioner. He was also the leader of the team who performed the first ever liver transplant surgery in Boston.

At Boston University Cho majored in history and journalism, and she started her career in journalism as an editor for New England Cable News. After that she worked as a reporter for WPLG-TV in Miami, and after a while started working as a Chicago-based correspondent to ABC NewsOne. During this time, she toured the country covering stories of national importance, like President Clinton's trials, the tornadoes in Midwest, and the Columbine High School shootings. She went on to co-anchor World News Now (ABC's overnightly news program), at around the same time she was also Good Morning America's correspondent cum fill-in anchor.

She replaced Diana Williams in 2003 on WABC-TV, and in 2011 was anchoring first at 4:00 along with David Navarro to fill up the vacant hour after The Oprah Winfrey Show departed. She is anchoring the 6 pm broadcasts alongside Bill Ritter, and also works for Channel 7 (under ABC News) as of present. In 2003, she joined ABC's Eyewitness News team and has since then covered top-headliners such as Prince William and Kate Middleton's Royal Wedding, President Reagan's funeral ceremony, the National Conventions of the Republican and Democratic party, as well as other important news making events in the Tri-State. As a part of the ABC Network, Cho covered the initial days of the Iraq War along with other stories.

She was married earlier to Evan Gottlieb, and she had a daughter on 17th May 2007 who was later named Louisa Simone Gottlieb. After filing for divorce from her husband in 2012, Cho got engaged to Josh Elliott in August 2014, a TV journalist who works for NBC Sports. She later married Elliott on July 2015 in California.

A beautiful anchor like her ought to have followers and fans, so it isn't much of a surprise to find that Liz has 30 thousand followers on twitter alone. She also has a lot of pictures on instagram that are tagged to her. Her net worth is approximated to be around $700 thousand, but we can be assured that it could grow as her career progresses and she continues her career. She is 45 years old as of now, but she doesn't even look like she is 30 at all! Gossips have been going around that her beauty is because of her mixed ethnicity.
