Lea Thompson

Lea Thompson was born on May 31, 1961, in Rochester, Minnesota, the United States of America. She has four other siblings, two sisters Shannon Katona and Coleen Goodrich and two brothers Andrew and Barry.

She was trained in ballet dancing and was already a young ballet dancer when she was fourteen. She won scholarships to the San Francisco Ballet, the American Ballet and the Pennsylvania Ballet. Later as she thought her body was not made for dancing she decided to act either.

Lea Thompson is married to Howard Deutch who is a film maker. They tied a knot in the year 1989 and have two children, both daughters. This married couple first met on the set o 'Some Kind of Wonderful' in 1987 where Lea was an actor.

Currently, both of her daughters are American actress where Madelyn has also established herself as a writer and musician.

Lea Thompson was already a professional dancer when she was 14 years old. When she was 20 years old she began professionally dancing for the American Ballet Theatre. She then moved to New York and in the 1980s he performed for Burger King advertisements.

She then made her debut in a live action video game MysteryDisc: Murder, Anyone? as Cecily Loper in 1982. Lea also did the movie Jaws 3-D in 1983, All the Right Moves in 1983, The Wild Life in 1984 and Red Dawn in 1984.
