Laurie Dhue

Laurie Walker Dhue often known as Laurie Dhue, 49, was born on 10th February 1969 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, United States. She grew up in Atlanta, Georgiawhere she lived with her mother, Hutton Dhue, and her father, Bob Dhue, who was a former vice president of wrestling operations for World Championship Wrestling.

  She got married to her ex-husband Thomas Calcoate. However, the marital relationship did not last for a long time; the couple got divorced. Currently, she is engaged with Joe Schrank. We are not aware whether she has children not as she has not disclosed it in the media.

When she was  of age 4 or 5 itself, she wanted to be a performer of some sort. According to her  parents, they caught her talking in the mirror to herself  and rehearsing as if she had to attend some show.  

Her family especially her grandfather, Bob Kent had the greatest influenced on her life. Laurie Dhue attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with a concentration in dramatic arts. After honing her journalistic talents, Dhue went on to pursue her dream of becoming a journalist.

She stands as one of the tallest female journalist as she has height of 6ft and 3 inches. Her slender legs and slim figure makes her look more attractive.

She had her first internship with CNN in 1988 during the Democratic National Convention. That's while she was a student at UNC. And she was a booth runner. She met Larry King, Walter Cronkite, and a lot of big names. And she was hooked from that moment. She knew she wanted to be on TV. And a few short years later it happened at CNN.

She had several internships a week after the Gulf War started back in 1991, she had just graduated from the University of North Carolina. And she started working there which turned out to be very fruitful to her career.   

 She eagerly she wanted to be a part of CNN. And actually, about five-and-a-half years later, the then-president of CNN, Tom Johnson, decided to take a chance on her and put her on the air. Here, she was one of the youngest people they ever had. Before, she had never been on the air so, she used to do behind-the-scenes work like she was producer, booker, writer, and had every job done in that building.

Then, she moved on to NBC, where she filled in on the Today show and appeared on MSNBC. She joined Fox News in September of 2000, and her blonde good looks made her an immediate favorite with a certain libidinous class of viewers.
