Lauren Sanchez

Lauren Wendy Sanchez came into this world on the 19th of December in Albuquerque, New Mexico in the United States of America in 1969. After completing her high school education, Sanchez went on to pursue higher education by enrolling at El Camino College at Torrance, California.

At El Camino, she was able to put her name on the Dean’s list and received a scholarship to attend the University of Southern California. She graduated from college with a Bachelor’s degree in communications.

The lucky man to tie the marital knot with Sanchez was none other than Henry Simmons. But sadly, their marriage lasted only until 2003, after which Sanchez remarried, this time, with Patrick Whitesell. Whitesell has worked as the agent for numerous world-famous Hollywood actors including Hugh Jackman, Matt Damon, and Ben Affleck. She is a mother of three children – one daughter and two sons – with Tony Gonzalez.

Sanchez started her journey into the world of journalism from KCOP-TV stationed at Los Angeles, where she was assigned to work as a desk assistant. She later went on to propel her career forward and joined KTVK-TV stationed at Phoenix in order to work as a reporter and anchor.

By this point, she had already established herself as a more-than-capable journalist. So the news giant Fox Sports Net (FSN) hired her and began working as the network’s correspondent for Going Deep. During her time at FSN, Sanchez also handled the job of entertainment reporter on the show Best Damn Sports Show Period.

In 1999, she came back to KCOP-TV in order to serve as the anchor for UPN 13 News. Soon after that, she was assigned to take the responsibility of entertainment reporter on the show. She appears on the show Good Day L.A. as a fill-in substitute co-host and has been doing so since 2003. Sanchez was able to host the popular dancing show on FOX So You Think You Can Dance in 2005.

Later in 2008, she came back to Extra to work as the network’s special correspondent and weekend anchor. She has made her appearance in different shows and program as a guest figure. 

Despite being one of the most famous celebrities in real life, Sanchez has chosen not to raise her social profile with the help of internet.

Maybe she likes to keep her private life only to those who are close to her. Currently, she has an account on only one of the most popular social networking sites i.e. Instagram. Sanchez has 7.4 thousand followers on the site and is available at @heli_of_a_view.
