Later in 1999, she became the first woman to manage the New Jersey Democratic Coordinated Campaign when Democratic caucus gained the three seats in General Assembly. She then subsequently served as communications director at New Jersey Democratic State Committee.
In 2001, Julie became the Washington D.C. based Communications Director for Jon Corzine upon his election to United States Senate. After a couple of years in 2003, she founded a Comprehensive Communications Group which is a political consulting and public relations firm that has worked on behalf of Fortune 500 Corporations, elected officials and non-profit organizations. Senators Frank Lautenberg and Cory booker and Reps. SteveRothman, Albio Sires and frank Pallone have been among the clients of the firm. Since 2005, Julie has served on board of Directors for Women’s Campaign School at the Yale University.
