Hilarie Burton

Hilarie Burton was born on July 1, 1982. She is the native of Sterling, Virginia, United States. Hilarie is the eldest one among the four children born to her parents. Her father is the former worked for the United States Army Special Forces and mother was a real estate agent. Her three siblings include her three brothers. She attended the Park View High completed her study in 2000 at the age of 18.

In her high school, she was active as student council treasurer in her second year, served as the vice president in a junior year and even as the captain of the cheerleading squad and student council president. After the completion of high school, she studied at the New York University and the Fordham University.

To talk about her personal life, Hilarie is a married woman but is already divorced. She was married to Ian Prange who is an assistant director of One Tree Hill and the son of the executive producer Greg Prange. They exchanged their vows in the year 2004 and due to some personal reason, they got separated in 2009.

Currently, she is in a romantic relationship with an actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The couple has been together with each other since 2009. They got engaged in 2012. Burton also has one baby, a son named Augustus together with Morgan. She gave birth to her first child in March of 2010.

At the starting of her career, Burton had her big break when she began to work as VJ for Total Request Live on the MTV. Hilarie was invited as a guest commentator only for a segment however after the end of the show she was offered a permanent job by the producers decided. She then presented the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards and the MTV’s Iced Out New Year’s Eve.

After that, she made her appearance in multiple television shows which includes Birds to Prey, Dawson’s Creek, One Tree Hill, MTV Does Miami, MTV Diary, The Real World: Las Vegas, Pepsi Smash, Unscripted, Little Britain USA, White Collar, Castle, Grey’s Anatomy, Hostages and Forever.

In addition to that, she also made her debut in the feature film in June of 2005 by appearing in independent drama film titled Our Very Own which starred Allison Janney and Cheryl Hines. Her other filmography includes Normal Adolescent Behavior, Solstice, The List, The Secret Life of Bees, The True Love Tale of Boyfriend and Girlfriend, Bloodworth, Naughty and Nice, and Christmas in the Bayou. She has also been cast as Josie Mayfield in the 2015 film called Surprised by Love.

Prior to that, in 2007, Burton has also created her own production company together with Kelly Tenney, Nick Gray, Meg Mortimer and James Burton which is named as Southern Gothic Production. Additionally, she is also on North Carolina Film Council. Besides that, Burton has also made her appearance in the music video The Mixed Tape.
