As a child, Fritz used to collect rocks. He then went on to make a collection of vintage toys and cars that made him popular with the collectors and designers.

Fritz has worked as fire and safety inspector for many years but his true passion remained for antique and junks. He along with his partner, Mike Wolfe traveled from coast to coast to more than 200 American cities, salvaging the antiques and the vintage items and selling them at his shop named Antique Archaeology located in Le Claire, Iowa. Frank Fritz has got a wonderfully beautiful house of his own.

It was in the year 2010 when Frank Fritz was hired by the History Channel to co-host a series called “American Pickers” along with Mike Wolfe. The American Pickers is a popular antique show which is one of the highest rated series on the History Channel.

The series premiered in the year 2010 and attracted 3.7 million viewers on its premier. In the show, the duo travels around the country searching for antiques as well as rare pieces.

In addition to that, The American Pickers has expanded into the social networking platform with a forum for children called ‘Kid Pickers’. In the forum, the kids share their stories as well as finds from the foraging through old items. In addition to that, it also has a company named ‘Rustorations’ that restores as well as resells the old light fixtures.

The series has now reached its fifth series and Fritz is paid 300 thousand dollars for per season plus bonus depending on series ratings. Also, Fritz has garnered a huge number of fans from around the world who flocked to his shop in the middle of the Iowa.
