Christian McCaffrey is the native of Castle Rock, Colorado, the United States of America. He was born on 7th June 1996. Christian also has two brothers among whom one is a younger and another one is the elder. He is the son of Ed McCaffrey and Lisa McCaffrey. His father had played the college football at Stanford and in NFL whereas his mother had also played soccer at Stanford.
McCaffrey went to study at the Valor Christian High School. There, he played running back, cornerback, wide receiver, and punter. He also broke numbers of Colorado High school records which also includes the career total touchdowns, career touchdown receptions, career all-purpose yards, and singer season all-purpose yards. He was also the Gatorade Football Player of the year for the Colorado in 2012 and 2013.

During his college days, Christian McCaffrey was 'Gatorade Football Player of the Year' for Colorado for two years. He was a standout sprinter on the track & field team for his college team. He held the second position in the 100-meter dash with his career best time of 10.75 seconds at the Mountain Vista Boulder Invitational.
When he was a senior he made another record of 10.89 seconds in 100-meter dash positioning himself in the sixth and 22.17-second record in the 200-meter dash as a ninth place at the CHSAA State Meet. He is best among hundred footballers in his national high school class. He was the college player for the Stanford University.
He continued his play for Stanford and played 13 games for his freshman years in 2014. 2015 was his victorious years where he broke the NCAA record of Barry Sanders of 3,250 with 3,864 in all-purpose yards. Christian McCaffrey was also ranked second for a national game with 2,019 rushing yards.
He became the part of All-American and was titled as Pac-12 Player of the Year, Associated Press College Football Player of the Year, and Paul Hornung Award.
