Wolf Blitzer

Mr. Blitzer was born on 22nd  March 1948, in Augsburg, Germany. He spent his childhood in Buffalo of New York.He was born to Celia Blitzer and David Blitzer. Although he was brought up in the USA he holds German Nationality, however, his ethnicity isn't known.

As talking about his educational life he finished his schooling from Kenmore West Senior High School. After that for further studies, he started going to the State University of New York-Buffalo from where he got his bachelor’s degree in history. For the Master’s degree, he joined Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies in the subject of international relations.

70 years old Wolf is a married man. His wife is Lynn Greenfield. He got married to his wife after dating for few years. The couple got married in the year 1973. They are living a happy life and have been together for about 40 years or more.  The perfect couple also has given birth to one daughter who has been named as Ilana Blitzer Gendelman.

Wolf Blitzer a well-known TV presenter started his career during the 1970s. He was first given a job in the Tel Aviv bureau of the Reuters. On the year 1973, he was offered a job by the editor of Jerusalem Post, Ari Rath. He accepted the offer and worked for the English language Israeli as Washington Correspondent. Wolf was employed there until 1990.

In the year 1986 Blitzer was known for coverage of the trail and arrest of Jonathan Pollard, who was an American Jew charged with spying. He also wrote a book named as “Territory of Lies” which was related to Pollard.

In the month of May in the year 1990, the former young Blitzer started working for the CNN. He worked there as a military affairs reporter for a cable network. He was the first western reporter who visited KGB headquarters.

From 2000 Wolf began working for his show named as Wolf Blitzer Reports and has also been hosting The Situation Room.

He is has become a very successful personality through his career. He earns a huge amount of money and is capable of fulfilling not only his basic need but also other extravagant needs. The exact annual amount of salary has not been informed yet but his net worth is around $16 million.
