Yuki Bhambri who is an Indian professional tennis player is also the former Junior Number 1 as well as the winner of the 2009 Australian Open Junior Championship. In addition to that, he is the first Indian who won the Junior Australian Open title and the 4th Indian in the history to capture the Junior Singles Grand Slam championship title. Additionally, he also appears in Davis Cup Tournament for the India. In the year 2015, he played against the two times grand slam champion Andy Murray in first round of Australian Open but he lost in the straight sets.

Yuki is the native of New Delhi, Indian. He came into this world on 4th July of the year 1992 which has now made him reach at the age of 23. He is a very tall guy with the height of six feet that is 1.83 m. she started to play the tennis when he was six years old. He is the son of Chander and wife Indu. He is the youngest in his family. His family members also include his two sisters named as Ankita Bhambri and Sanaa Bhambri. He is also the cousin of Prerna Bhambari as well as Prateek Bhambri all of whom are the professional tennis player. Yuki’s tennis coach is Aditya Sachdeva.

Yukireached the junior combined number 1 ranking in world in February of the year 2009. He also won the Junior Australian Open Boys Singles title in the same year by defeating Alexandros-Ferdinandos Georgoudas of Greece in finals. He also played in the three Junior Grand Slam Double Tournaments partnering with Karunuday Singh at Australian Open Boys’ Doubles where he lose in first round. After the disappointing performance in grand slam events, his career went back on the track with his success in Junior Fed Cup in Mexico. There, he led India to semifinals along with Saurabh Singh losing because of an ankle injury.

It was in the year 2008 when Yuki turned professional. He participated in numbers of the Future and Challenger events in India since he was at the age of 15. But he has mostly focused on the ITF junior events after he turned 16. Yuki is a very hard working guy with dedication towards his work.
