An American country music artist Tracy Lawrence started his career at country music restaurant known as Live At Libby’s where the owner Libby Knight would help the local talent to find their way into country music. He is the native of Atlanta, Texas, United States of America. He came into this world on 27th January of the year 1968 which has now made him reach at the age of 48. Although he is known by the name Tracy Lawrence, as a child, he was named as Tracy Lee Lawrence. He has been active in this field since 1991 and from that time onward, he has been very successful and gained a large number of fan following.

Tracy had mostly lived in Foreman, Arkansas in his early life. He then wrote his first song when he was 4 years old. His mother used to write down the lyrics for him. He then played in the first band when he was 16. He went to get his education from the Southern Arkansas University located in Magnolia, Arkansas. There, he was a member of Epsilon Kappa Chapter of Sigma Pi Fraternity. Later in 1990, he left Arkansas and moved to Nashville, Tennessee where he planned to find the success as recording artist.

Previously, Lawrence used to work as an iron worker and in phone sales while he also tried to break into music business. He also started to participate in the talent shows and he earned enough money to live on. After that, he also worked with Wanda Collier who is a music publisher for whom he d some works and co-wrote some songs while also learning his way around music scene in Nashville. In addition to that, he also had a gig at Bluebird cafe where he met Wayne Edwards who later became his manager.

Tracy then got his big break with an album titled as Sticks and Stones. From that time, Tracy has sold more than 5 million albums and he has also had 11 chart-topping hits. With the assistance of Edwards, he signed with the Atlantic Records and then started recording the first album titled as Sticks and Stones. He was also named as Top New Male Vocalist by Billboard in 1992. His 2nd album titled Alibis produced four singles. His third album is titled as I See It Now. After that, he released live acoustic album in 1995 which he entitled as Tracy Lawrence Live and Unplugged.

Prior to that, Tracy began his own record label known as Rocky Comfort Records in 2006. His 1st single for that label was titled as Find Out Who Your Friends Are that was released in August 2006 from the album For the Love. His other studio albums are entitled as Time Marches On, The Coast Is Clear, Lessons Learned, Tracy Lawrence, Strong, All Wrapped Up in Christmas, The Rock, The Singer and Headlights, Taillights and Radios.
