Tahj Mowry was born on 17 May 1986 in Honolulu, Hawaii. His parents are Timothy John Mowry, of English descent, and Darlene Renee Flowers, of Afro-Bahamian descent. Father John is a former U.S. Army and mother Darlene used to manage children's careers.
Tahj parents dated a long time before they got married, they met in high school in Miami, Florida. Both of them were the part of U.S. Army and in the rank of Sergeant. He has two sisters Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Tamera Mowry-Housley and a brother Tavior Mowry in his family.
