Sheryl Sandberg who is an American technology executive, author as well as an activist was born on 28th August of the year 1969. She is also the Chief Operating Officer of the Facebook. She is the native of Washington, D. C. United States. She was born to a Jewish parents Adele and Joel Sandberg. When she was two years old, her family moved to the North Miami Beach. She went to study at the North Miami Beach High School. There, she was always at top of her class. While in the high school, she taught aerobics in 1980s. She then joined the Harvard College in 1987 and got graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in the economics from there in 1991. After that, she got enrolled at the Harvard Business School in 1993 and she earned her M.B.A.  in 1995 with a highest distinction.

In late of 2007, the co-founder and the chief executive of Facebook, Mr. Mark Zuckerberg met her at the Christmas party that was held by Dan Rosensweig. Later, the Facebook announced about hiring her in March of 2008 for the role of COO. Later in 2012, she became one of the eight members of Facebook’s Board of Directors being the first woman to serve on the board. Previous to that, she was a Vice President of the Global Online Sales and Operations at the Google.

To talk about her personal life biography, she has married twice and divorced once. At first, she was married to her ex-husband Brian Kraff from 1993 till 1994. After that, she married to her second husband Davi Goldberg with whom she has two children. Apart from that, Sheryl has now reached at the age of 45 and her net worth is estimated to be around $1.06 billion. She has also written books. Her book entitled as Lean In was shortlisted for “Financial Times and Goldman Sachs Business Book of the Year Award”.
