An American actress Sarah Drew is mostly known for portraying the role as Hannah Rogers in The WB family drama series known as Everwood from 2004 till 2006 and as Dr. April in ABC medical drama series called Grey’s Anatomy from 2009 till present. She is the native of Stony Brook, New York, United States of America. She came into this world on 1st October of the year 1980 which has now made her reach at the age of 35. She is the daughter of Rev. Charles Drew and wife Jeannie drew. Her father is a senior pastor at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church located in New York City whereas her mother is presently teaching biology in an independent private school for girls that is located in Manhattan.

Her family members also include her brother named Allen Drew who is also a pastor at Mt. Airy Community Church in Philadelphia as well as he is also a director of a cappella group at the Germantown Friends School. She went to get her education from the Stony Brook School. After that, Sarah also got enrolled at the University of Virginia from where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in drama in 2002. She started her acting career while she was in her high school by appearing in the school plays, Community Theater along with Take One Theatre Arts and summer stock.

A beautiful actress Sarah stands at an average height of five feet and four and half inches that is 1.64 m. She is a married woman. She is married to her husband named Peter Lanfer who is a lecturer at the UCLA. Their wedding took place in June of 2002 and since then, they are together and living their blissful and happy married life. In addition to that, the pair is also a proud parents of their two children. Sarah first gave birth to their first child, a baby boy named Micah Emmanuel on 18th January 2012. After that, she again gave birth to theri second child, a baby girl on 3rd December 2014 whom they have named as Hannah Mali Rose.

While Drew was still in her high school in 1997, she voiced as Stacy Rowe on an animated series known as Daria. She also voiced the character in Daria TV films titled as Is It College Yet? and Is It Fall Yet? It was in 2001 when Drew made her professional stage debut in Romeo and Juliet as Juliet at McCarter Theatre located in Princeton, New Jersey. Later, after a couple of years in 2003, she made her Broadway debut in Vincent in Brixton that later took her to West End of London.

She then made her move to TV with guest role in a series called Wonderfalls and she was also in a movie Radio. She starred in The WB drama series called Everwood as Hannah Rogers from 2004 till 2006.
