Ryen Russillo: Personal Life
Ryen Russillo is an American host who was born on 5th August 1975 in Laramie, Wyoming. Russillo attended University of Vermont and graduated from there in the year 1997. While his time there, he worked as an intern at WCAX located in Burlington.
After completing his graduation, he began to spend his time in broadcasting baseball games for Double-A Trenton Thunder. Before the team relocated, he was the play-by-play man for six months. Russillo used to live in Boston, Massachusetts.
There, he used to work for the WWZN which is an affiliated Sports News Radio. During his tenure in WWZN, he used to host “The Die Hards” along with the co-hosts Anthony Pepe, Kevin Winter, John Anik and Miek Winn. He hosted the show from mid-2003 till 2005.
He then moved to the Hartford, Connecticut. Russillo has worked as a television presenter and he is currently a journalist.

Later in the year of 2005, Russillo was hired by the WBCN and he was also added to New England Patriots pre-game as well as a post-game show.
Not long after joining there, Russillo was released from there due to a personal conflict between him and John Dennis who is of WEEI. Dennis had left Russillo a threatening voicemail. Russillo then joined ESPN Radio in the year 2006 and began to host the NBA Sunday along with Jamal Mashburn.
In addition to that, Russillo has also hosted baseball shows along with Steve Phillips and NFL Draft. He has also hosted several talking shows which also include “Tirico and Van Pelt” and “the Doug Gottlieb Show”. During the 2008 season, he also hosted ESPN Radio College Games Day.
After that, in the year 2009, he was named as a co-host of the show called the “Scott Van Pelt Show”. Its format was to present the two friends as well as passionate fans who talk about the sports with their listeners.
Apart from that, Russillo was named as the Best Radio Voice of the year 2007 by Richard Deitsch of Sports Illustrated for his work on the ESPN Radio.
