An Australian professional racing driver Ryan Briscoe is from Sydney who had raced Open Wheel and Sports cars in American and Europe. He came into this world on 24th September of the year 1981 which has now made him reach at the age of 34. He has already got married and he is married to his wife named Nicole Briscoe who is a ESPN motorsports reporter. The couple exchanged their vows with each other in 2009 and since then, they are living their happy and blissful life. He speaks French and Italian. He went to get his education from the Trinity Grammar School located in Summer Hill, Sydney, Australia.
As many racing drivers, Ryan started his career in karting first racing in 1993. He then won the Australian, North American and Italian Championship. After that, he moved to Formula Renault in 2000. In 2001, he won an Italian Championship and finished 4th running a limited schedule in Eurocup. The next year, he became the test driver for Toyota Formula One constructor. That year, he started racing in Formula 3000 series but he struggled and left his ride after seven races. In 2005, there were rumors that Ryan was set to race for Jordan Grand prix F1 team in 2005 due to the acquisition of the team of Toyota power.
On 1th September of same year, he was involved in violent crash at the Chicagoland Speedway in which he broke his both clavicles among other injuries. His car climbed on the top of Red Bull entry driven by Alex Barron and it went airborne into catch fencing above retaining wall and snapping in two. Later, he was then released from hospital on 19th September and after the initial treatment in USA, he moved to specialist Formula Medicine facility in Viareggio, Italy for bulk of his rehabilitation.
His wife Nicole Briscoe is an American sportscaster and she is currently working at the ESPN. She is the native of Wausau, Wisconsin, United States. She came into this world on 2nd July of 1980 which has now made her reach at the age of 35. Originally focused on covering the auto racing for the ESPN which included stints as a host of NASCAR Countdown, and NASCAR Now, she became the SportsCenter anchor in 2005. She went ot get her education from the Hononegah High School and graduated from there in 1998. She is also the winner of Miss Illinois Teen USA 1998 and she had also competed in Miss Teen USA pageant in August 1998.
In Indycar, Ryan has collected eight wins and 28 podiums finishing 3rd in 2009 season, 5th in 2008 and 2010 and 6th in 2011 and 2012. In the Sports car racing, he was a runner-up at 2007 American Le Mans Series LMP2 Class. He had won 2013 12 Hours of Sebring LMP2 class, The 2008 and 2013 Petit Le Mans LMP2 Class, the 2015 24 Hours of Daytona GTLM Class and he finished 3rd overall at 2008 24 Hours of daytona.
