Rudi Garcia is known across the globe as a football manager and a former soccer player. He currently manager the football club named Roma. He was born in the year 1964, 20th February. His father’s name was Jose, who was a Spaniard Expatriate who used to play professional football in favor of Sedan and Dunkerque. His Grandparents had left the village of Andalusia which is located in the Ardennes region at the time of Spanish Civil war.

When Jose became the coach for the local team named Corbeil Essones, he drafted his son inside the squad where Rudi used to play till the cadet level. Corbeil did not have any cadet side and because of that, Rudi joined the Viry Chatillon. He obtained baccalaureat at the young age of 18 and he signed for the Lille and spent two whole years as an intern and four another years as a crew member of the professional squad.

He used to play as an attacking mid-fielder and his first ever goal was one notable affair. In the year 1984, December, Lille travelled to the Parc des Princes to face Paris Saint-Germain; both the teams’ result was a tie at 2-2 and Garcia netted a win over Parisian Club. He made a total of 170 appearances for Northern Club which he ultimately left in the year 1988.

After leaving Lille, he joined Stade Malherbe Caen and was coached by Robert Nouzaret and Daniel Jeandupeux. In the year 1991, he preferred to join Martigues rather than joining Normandy Club. Due to serious injuries in his knees and back forced him to retire from his professional football career as a player at the age of 28 which was in the year 1992.

In between 1992 and 1994, he totally stayed away for the football grounds. He instead joined a university and achieved a DEUG and STAPS degree at Orsay along with French qualifications which entitled him to manage a youth training program. He also worked Canal Satellite beginning with a reporting activity after a match and then later a s pundit in the sports talks.

In the year 1995, he again returned to the Corbeil to manage the club; he guided the club and then in those seasons, one ended up with the club in mid-table and the other in the second place.

Between the years 1994 and 1996, he acted as a player-manager for the club named lle-de France before he took his managerial duties between 1996 and 1998.

He became a scout where he studied opponents and assisted the elaboration of Saint-Etienne’s tactics. Slowly, he became an assistant coach.

In the year 213, 12th June, the president of Roma declared that Garcia had been appointed as the new manager for the club.

On 5th October, he was sent off the game against Juventus after he protested the referee’s decision of awarding Juventus with the penalty. The game was lost by Roma and Garcia also admitted that it was some of their fault that they lost the game.

He gave a symbolic pencil to journalists at a press conference saying that whatever happened in Paris was an attack on freedom but freedom is something that should last forever. He is updated in his social network sites like instagram and twitter and it has been rumored that he has a girlfriend who works as club Roma's television journalist.
