Romelo Menama Lukaku is known across the world as a professional football player playing football as a striker for the club named Everton which is a Premier League Football club and also for the Belgium National Team. He was named as one of the ten most promising young football players in the Europe by The Guardian; he is one of the five players who have scored 50 goals in the Premier League before their 23rd birthday. He started his career along with Rupel Boom before he joined Lierse; he earned a move to Anderlecht which is a team in a Belgian Pro League in the year 2006. He made his professional debut when he was still in school at a young age of 16. He then became a top scorer in the 2009-10 top scorer where his team won the Belgian Championship. He even won a Belgian Ebony Shoe in the year 1011. In the summer of 2011, in a transfer window, he joined a Premier League club named Chelsea. He did not appear as a regular player in the first season as he spent the two seasons which followed on loan at the West Bromwich Albion and Everton where he signed permanently for the latter for a club record amounting to 28 million pounds in the year 2014.

He also was a member of Belgian under-21 team, where he scored his first goal against Slovenia.

In the year 2010, 24th Februray, he was named for the first time inside the Belgian Squad for a match against Croatia. On 17th November the same year, he scored his first couple of international goals in a match against Russia.

He scored his first goal in two years for the national team where they achieved a 4-2 victory over their rivals Netherlands in the year 2012, 15th August. In the year 2013, 11th October, he also scored two goals against Croatia which helped them secure a place in the World cup finals.

He got his name enlisted in the Belgian Squad for the World Cup 2014. On 26th May, the same year he scored his first hat-trick in the pre-tournament in a friendly match against Luxembourg. It was not recognized by an official game by FIFA because Belgium had made a substitution of seven instead of six. On first June, he scored the first of two goals for Belgium with a 2-0 sweet victory over Sweden.

He started the match which was against Algeria and he played for about 48 minutes before he got replaced by Divock Origi where Belgian team won against Algeria with two goals against one. He came on as a substitute in the round of 16 and helped out Kevin De Bruyne’s opening goal three minutes after his entry.
