Reza Aslan who is an Iranian American author, commentator as well as a religious scholar has written two books on the religion which are titled as No god but God: the origins, evolution and future of Islam as well as Zealot: the life and times of Jesus of Nazareth. In addition to that, Reza is also a member of an American Academy of Religion. He is also the professor of creative writing at the University of California located in Riverside. Aslan’s family came to United States from the Tehran in the year 1979 fleeing the Iranian Revolution. He was grown up in an Francisco Bay Area. In early 1990s, Reza taught the courses at De La Salle High School located in Concord, California.
