Ray Liotta (full name Raymond Allen Ray Liotta) is an American actor, film producer and voice actor best known for his portrayal of the characters Henry Hill in Goodfellas (1990) and Shoeless Joe Jackson in Field of Dreams (1989). Born in Newark, New Jersey on 18th December 1954, Liotta was adopted as a 6 month old child by Mary and Alfred Liotta, who both unsuccessfully participated in the elections for local office as candidates. He finished schooling from Union High School in 1973, and graduated from the University of Miami in 1978 with a degree in Fine Arts.
