Personal life
Philip Schofield was born on 1st April ,1962 in Oldham, Lancashire, England. He spent his childhood days in New quay, Cornwall. He went to Trenance Infant School as a child.
He got married to gorgeous lady, Stephanie Lowe, former BBC Production Assistant, in 1993. They are blessed with two children named "Molly May Schofield" and "Ruby Schofield".
Professional life
At the age of 10 ,he decided that he wanted to pursue a career in broadcasting and started to write to the BBC. At the age of 15, he got a job on a Sunday show on Hospital Radio Plymouth. At the age of 17, he got appointed at BBC network as bookings clerk.
At the age of nineteen, he shifted his with his family to New Zealand, where he initiated his television career as the presenter of youth music programme SHAZAM! He served on Radio Hauraki for 2 years.
Then in 1985 he came back to Britain and became first in-vision continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays for 2 years. In 1990s, he worked for many television programmes like "Ten Ball" and "Schofield's TV Gold".
He became prominent figure in 1994 when he started to present show called "Talking Telephone Numbers".
He came to limelight on 2002 after hosting television show called "Dancing on Ice". Philip launched "Radio Plymouth" in the year 2010 which is based in Devon. He has hosted radio program called "Going Live" which was broadcasted on "BBC Radio 1". Currently he is presenting the television show called " You're Back in the Room" for ITV.
