Pauline Quirke who is an English actress was born on 8th July of the year 1959. She is mostly known for portraying the role of Sharon Rackham in long running comedy series called Birds of a Feather. As a child, she used to go to the drama club that was opened by her English Teacher at the primary schoold.
At the beginning of her career, Quirke started as a child actress when she was at the age of eight. She made her appearance in the Dixon of Dock Green. She then later had her own show called Pauline’s Quirkes’ Thames Television. In the year 1976, she portrayed the lead role in “Special Offer” along with Wensley Pithey, Ruth Goring and Geoffrey Bateman. She also had small role in The Elephant Man. In addition to that, she also had a character of Veronica in the Shine on Harvey Moon. Pauline had her big break in 1989 when she got chance to play the role of Sharon Rackham in BBC sitcom “Birds of Feather”. Since then, she had made her appearance in multiple of TV series. Her other TV credit includes The Sculptress, The Thieving Headmistress, Celebrity Masterchef, Missing, Emmerdale, Broadchurch, and Loose Women.

The couple has two children together who are named as Emily and Charlie. Currently, she is residing in Penn, Buckinghamshire along with her family.

Pauline went on diet in the year 2011 and she had a weight loss from 123 kg to 83 kg in July of 2011. She again aimed to lose her weight and became 70 kg after she was told that she was a big unit. Due to that, her health was at risk.
