Paul Lambert who is a Scottish professional football manager as well as a former player was born on 7th August of the year 1969. He is the native of Glasgow, Scotland. When he was a child, his family moved to Linwood, Renfrewshire. Before entering professional game with the St. Mirren in 1985, he played for the Linwood Rangers Boys’ Club. With St. Mirren, he won his first senior winner’s medal courtesy of 1987 Scottish Cup Final.
It was in September of 1993 when Paul was signed by Tommy McLean for the Motherwell for fee of £250000 in transfer move. He then signed Borussia Dortmund in 1996. The following year, he again signed Wim Jansen for the Celtic for fee in region of £2 million. He made his debut on 8th November of the same year.
