Odion Jude Ighalo is professionally known as a professional football player playing football for an English club named Watford and for Nigeria National Football team as a striker. He is known to be a Christian devotee and has been dedicating his part of his salary to Nigerian Charitable organizations whose objective is to help and assist children, widows, and schools who are suffering from poverty. He was born in the Edo state of Nigeria and played for his country along with Prime F.C. and Julius Berger F.C. He was referred to Atta Aneke when he got discovered by a FIFA agent Marcelo Houseman and was immediately taken on a trial by Norway’s Lyn Football.

He went away to Tippeligaen and made his debut in the year 2007, 16th September at a very young age of 18 where the team won against Viking FK. He scored about six goals in a total of 13 games in his second year to help his team secure the seventh position and was given interest upon by other clubs in the nation with SK Brann reporting Lyn to the Football Association of Norway regarding the unfairness in the negotiation process.

He signed for the Udinese CAlcio in Italy in the year 2008, 30th July moving along with Jo Inge Berget and agreeing on a five year contract. He appeared very rarely in the Serie A during his debut season with a phenomenal score of 6-2 against Cagliari Calcio. Of his five appearances, four of his appearances were as a late substitute in the game.

He was loaned to the Granadaas CF in the summer of 2009 as a part of partnership agreement between Udinese and Spaniards. He scored 17 times in his first year and five in second and both of the seasons ended in promotion.

He continued to play with Granada in his coming years of career he also played his first ever match in La Liga in the year 2011, 27th August, for full 90 minutes but lost to Rea Betis 0-1.

He alos joined the Watford during a season long loan deal from Udinese in the tear 2014, 29th July. He also made his debut in an English club in the very first round of the Football League Cup held at Stevenage where he scored his first goal against Brentford on 30th September by tucking the ball home as his penalty at the beginning was saved by David Button. He has a transfer history of over 13 clubs starting from the season 2007-08 to 2014-15. 

In the year 2014, Watford cancelled Ighalo’s loan and re-signed him on a permanent dela at the very same day after he got released from the contract. Three months later, he scored four goals and was voted as the man of the match in a match against Blackpool with a score of 7-2 which was led as 0-2 in the first half.

He scored his first Premier League debut on 8th August 2015 by replacing Jose Manuel Jurado 16 minutes after the game started and making a 2-2 draw against Everton for the season. He does not seem to be craxy about social network sites like twitter but he sometimes updates his instagram account. He does not seem to be dating anyone presently so there's no question of him having a girlfriend.
