Nohemi Gonzalez is an American college student who was studying abroad in France. She was one among the 129 people killed in the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday. She was the student at the Long Beach State University located in California. She was killed when the gunmen opened fire on the restaurant in Paris. The official list of victims has not been released yet.
Nohemi was a design student and she was studying at the Strate School of Design that is located in Sevres, France as part of the exchange program. Long Beach State president Jane Close Conoley has stated in a statement that she is deeply saddened by news of passing of Nohemi Gonzalez. The Los Angeles Times has reported that the other three students from the Long Beach State studying abroad along with Gonzalez are safe.
Nohemi was 23 years old when she died. According to the Los Angeles Times, one of the lecturers at Long Beach Design School said on the Facebook page that Nohemi was a kind, thoughtful, generous as well as talented students. Her fellow interior design students spoke to the reporters about her by calling her bubbly as well as passionate. She was originally from El Monte, California. She was called as Mimi by those who were closest to her. She was first generation American an she had dual Mexican-American citizenship.
Moving on to her personal life biography, Gonzalez was in relationship with her boyfriend named Tim Marz. According to her Facebook page, the coupe was dating with each other since the year 2012. Her social networking sites pages are filled with her pictures from her time abroad as well as with her friends and parents in California. After her death, her boyfriend wrote on his Instagram page that he lost most important person of his life. He also wrote that she was his best friend, and she will always be his angel forever. She was also active in Twitter account.
