A native of Jersey City, New Jersey, United States, Nathan Lane is an American stage, movie as well as TV actor and a writer who is widely known for portraying the roles as Albert in the Birdcage, as Max Bialystock in musical The Producers, as Ernie Smuntz in the MouseHunt, as Nathan Detroit in the Guys and Dolls, and as Pseudolus in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to The Forum. In addition to that, he is also known for his voice work in the Stuart Little as well as in The Lion King.
