Marysol Castro who is an American broadcast journalist was born on 29th September of the year 1976. She has most recently worked as news anchor at the WPIX located in New York. In addition to that, she is also the weather forecaster for “The Early Show” on the CBS in 2011 and also a features correspondent for weekend edition of “Good Morning America” that aired on the ABC from 2004 till 2010.
Marysol went to study at the Public Study 83 as well as Intermediate School 181. She then attended the Westtown School which is a Quaker Boarding School located in Pennsylvania. Later, she got enrolled at the Wesleyan University that is located in Middletown, Connecticut and got graduated from there with Bachelor of Arts degree in the year 1996. In addition to that, she also obtained Masters of Arts in the journalism from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
It was in 2004 when she first started her major job. She was then assigned as a weather correspondent for morning TV show Good Morning America. She worked there for six years. Later in 2011, she joined the CBS network. Since 2011, she has been reporting as well as anchoring for the PIX11.
To talk about her personal life biography, Marysol has already got married. She was previously married to her ex-husband Christopher Poole. The couple exchanged their vows with each other before many years. Later in 2011, Castro reportedly filed for the divorce. There is no more information found whether she their divorce has already got finalized or not. She also has two children together with Poole who are named as Liam and Gavin.
