Marcel Hirscher is an Austrian World Cup Alpine Ski racer who made his World Cup debut in March of the year 2007. He is the native of Annaberg-Lungotz, Salzburg, Austria. He came into this world on 2nd March of the year 1989 which has now made him reach at the age of 26.
He is a tall guy with the height of 5 feet and 8 inches that is 1.73 m. At 2010 Winter Olympics, Marcel placed in fourth position in giant slalom and fifth in slalom at the Whistler Creekside. At 2009 World Championships, he placed fourth in giant slalom but he broke his ankle the weekend preceding 2011 World Championships which ended the 2011 season of him.
After returning from the injury, he had his best season till date in terms of wins in 2012 with the 9 victories as well as a total of 14 podiums, all in the two technical events.
